Restorative Practices Intervention Specialists
Our Restorative Practices Intervention Specialists support youth receiving Tier II and III interventions navigate conflict, repair relationships, build accountability, and reconnect with their school community.
Support may include:
- Restorative circles and conferencing
- Conflict mediation and resolution
- One-on-one mentoring
- Parent and caregiver engagement
- Home visits and family support
- Trauma-informed curriculum
- Student assemblies
- Restorative practices training for school staff
Youth Intervention Specialists
Our Youth Intervention Specialists provide intensive Tier II and III intervention for students facing some of the most difficult barriers to school success, including involvement with gangs, violence, probation, the juvenile justice system, chronic absenteeism, behavioral challenges, and community instability.
Support may include:
- Individualized case management and mentoring
- Gang and violence prevention and intervention
- Probation and juvenile justice reentry support
- Attendance and behavior support
- Alternatives to suspension
- Conflict resolution and crisis response
- Family engagement
- Connection to community resources and supportive services
Our teams serve as a bridge between school, family, community, and opportunity, meeting young people where they are and helping them move forward.
Project Kinship currently partners with school districts throughout Orange County, including SAUSD, GGUSD, NMUSD, FJUHSD, and OVSD, serving students across 35 campuses.
