Re-Entry Success Center

Project Kinship’s Re-Entry Success Center helps individuals navigate the transition from incarceration back into the community for individuals with recent involvement with the justice system 1x in the previous 12 months.

Our team works with participants before and after release to address immediate needs, develop individualized reentry plans, and build pathways toward stability. Many members of our team bring lived experience alongside professional and clinical expertise, creating an environment grounded in understanding, dignity, and respect.

Support may include:

  • In-custody advocacy and reentry planning
  • Intake Release Center outreach
  • Theo Lacy outreach and in-reach
  • Peer navigation and mentoring
  • Intensive case management
  • Emergency housing and shelter linkage
  • Individual and group substance use counseling and recovery support
  • Individual mental health services
  • Referrals to employment, education, benefits, and other supportive services
  • Transportation assistance
  • Food and basic needs support
  • Connection to family and community resources
  • Recovery circles
  • Tattoo removal services

Our field team also meets individuals directly outside Orange County release facilities, helping newly released community members address urgent needs and connect to support as quickly as possible.

Reentry is not a single moment—it is a journey, and no one should have to navigate it alone.
