Who we serve
Programs Built Around People
Project Kinship walks alongside youth and adults, individuals and families impacted by:
- Incarceration and reentry
- Gangs and gang involvement
- Violence and community harm
- Trauma and its lasting effects
- Family separation and strained relationships
- Barriers to education and employment
- Cycles of poverty, incarceration, and violence
We meet people where they are, whether that is in juvenile hall, county jail, schools, or in the community. We also work with more than 30 schools, partnering with students, educators, and families to create environments where young people can build relationships, discover their strengths, and develop the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges.
These challenges are deeply connected. We believe lasting change requires more than addressing one issue at a time. It requires relationships, belonging, healing, opportunity, and the support to build a different future.

Community Programs
Connection, Opportunity, and Belonging
Project Kinship’s community programs create welcoming spaces where relationships can grow, confidence can be strengthened, and new opportunities can begin. Through everyday experiences rooted in dignity and care, these programs bring people together while creating pathways toward healing, connection, and meaningful work.
