Our approach
Transformation doesn’t happen through services alone. It happens through relationships. We meet people where they are. We listen. We build trust. We celebrate progress and stay present through setbacks. We hold people accountable while reminding them they’re worthy of dignity, love, and belonging.
Belonging and accountability go together. Compassion doesn’t mean ignoring harm. Accountability doesn’t mean giving up on someone. Real transformation makes room for both.
People change when they’re surrounded by others who refuse to give up on them, who hold hope when they can’t hold it themselves, and who walk with them through the hard work of becoming.
We’ve seen disconnected people find belonging. We’ve seen people who once caused harm become people who help heal. We’ve seen people with no visible future start building one.
That’s the power of kinship.
Our work
The Foundation of Our Work
Project Kinship’s work is built around three interconnected pillars: Kinship Heals, Kinship Learns, and Kinship Works.
CARE & SUPPORT
One Team Around Every Person
The three pillars come together through a team-based approach to care and support. Rather than moving people from one service to the next, Project Kinship brings people together around each individual and family, creating a connected network of support built on trust, consistency, and shared goals.

OUR TEAM
A Shared Path Forward
Our multidisciplinary teams bring together professionals and people with lived experience to address the many dimensions of healing and growth. Depending on each person’s needs, support may include case management, mentorship, therapy, education, employment services, and connections to community resources.
By working collaboratively, our teams ensure that individuals do not have to navigate complex systems alone. Each person is met with compassion, encouragement, and practical support as they work toward healing, education, employment, and a meaningful, self-directed future.
